What is police brutality? Police brutality is where excessive force is being used to make a lawful arrest. It’s also when a police officer gets physically violent or doesn’t think for his actions that cause harm in the area he is in and the people around there as well. In the past couple of years, police brutality has been on line where many police officers cross that line. There has been people killed, injured, or even accuse for what they may think is the victim. Wrong arrest is when they catch the wrong person of course, but when that person gets injured in the process or even killed would be police brutality. Now, one thing that concerns me the most is when the officer who used brutality force gets away or release with no penalty. People get angry and what justice, but when they don’t get that, there is chaos and riots filled with many people because it’s unfair for the police officer to be free without a penalty or charge. Police brutality has occurred in the past couple of years where it’s now harmful to America because of their actions, results, and not being secure.
The reason I say its harmful to America is because we are the most who are struck by our own force, our protectors are supposed to be keeping us safe not doing harm in their own events. There has been many videos out in the internet where a police officer uses force physically and weaponry on victims or innocents. The one I actually know a little about and was close by the area is the one that happened in New York City where two bystanders were shot because a couple of NYPD try to take down a disorderly man. That’s by far the closest to police brutality that I’ve been close too. There is so much that happens that police choose to assault and think it might be easier to solve the problem. Violence doesn’t solve anything but cause even more. America is on the edge to collapsing with everything that has been happening and for police to act this way makes it worse. There are many videos out there that have police brutality and I like to take a moment and talk about a few.
One of them that I know of and has been recently is the homeless camping out in a restricted area. I think the man didn’t knew that he was in a restricted area in the first place. In the morning when he pack up and was leaving I believe, was caught by an officer. The homeless man then got scared and pulled two small knives and didn’t want to surrender. More police showed up with tactical gear and assault rifles that have rubber bullets in the clips just for one man who was homeless and scared. He didn’t knew how to react because I think he didn’t want to go to jail. Minutes after minutes and waiting then the police just acted with force. A flash bang right in front of him and a couple of rounds into the man and was then taken down. A group of police officers scared of a homeless man with two small knives. As the man fell from the shots, he had hit his head on rocks and fell unconscious for just a few moments. While they were screaming at him to put his hands in his back, he didn’t respond and yet another officer came with a shotgun that had rubber bullets and shot him a couple of times. They acted with force and later the man was dead by police officers who acted with extreme force. Such force isn’t necessary when a simple talk and understanding on both ends should have been enough.
(I know the rough draft is suppose to be about 2000 words here but I'm actually feeling ill and would like to continue further into the writing but I can't because the screen is giving me a headache and I can't really really sit up. But don't worry I will make sure I have the 2000 words or even more probably tomorrow. So by continuing on the essay I'm going to write like 2 more examples or 3 more then I will continue with the results of every single effect of police brutality and end it with how America feels.Sorry again for not fully completing a 2000 word rough draft here.)

Police Brutality

My research topic hasn't change at all but the question changed just a little to have a clear focus and thought about. Why are police acting up to the point where they injured and kill innocent lives on accident or purposefully? This is my question but I might still work on it to make more sense in the way its good enough, clear and understandable. On the essay portion, I'm thinking of starting off by saying a little history or incidents that had happened in the past few years to get it going then as I get to middle of the essay, explain maybe why police officers may do this and think they can get away. Also, why I'm still in the middle portion of the essay have some positive and negative effects of the action that took place and still have today. Afterwards ill probably end it with some facts and results of the crisis that was left or something else. Not to sure for sure since it is a working progress still and I am researching still to get more information. I do feel like it will be a good topic for me because law enforcement is my major that I'm going for and I feel like its something that I can write about and learn a few things about along the way. If you have any suggestions as to how I should go about on the essay feel free to ask or tell. It would be helpful to know since I'm not the best at writing but do have some ideas as how to do it. I want to make this essay readable and understanding for those who don't know what is happening out there in the world or want a little more insight on what is actually happening in the police force.

Police Brutality: Why are police being more aggressive and threatening than being safeguard and protecting those who cant for themselves?

Police brutality is link to pop culture because its not just one cop or area but multiple areas and police officers acting the same causing multiple actions and wounds to Families and in generally in america as well. It cause riots and anger many people.

I know that the past couple of years there has been many incidents involving cops whether it be a shooting or a mistake a couple made that cause someones life. I've been to the New York shooting where a cop shot an incident trying to capture a man which happened last year.

The way I would respond to this question is with facts of events that happened involving cops shooting an unarmed men or women or simply a mistake a officer made that cause a big haste.

What I still need to make this essay strong is links that will help out understand more of what I'm talking about as well as facts to prove how officers been acting the past years with good word choice that will not lead to the essay sounding repetitive.
