The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Skyrim is the fifth series or franchise I should say for the Elder scroll games to which is one of the best games to ever be made. When I first played through the main story line of this game I was a bit confused as to what I was doing and what I had to do. As days passed I was starting to get more into the game and understanding what must be done. It got the point where I was addicted to the game for a while because there was so much to do in the game and a lot to discover. Shown in the case of this game I only saw fighting dragons and having a journey, but there is a whole lot more in the game; a lot of side quest and journeys to take on and some have effects to the game. I didn't expect for this game to have so much and adventure. I like adventure games so this brought me more expectations to the game and it brought even more. Its to be said that this game has more than 100 hours of gameplay which is big considering the fact that other games struggle to bring at least 20 hours of gameplay. The game did bring pleasure and enjoyment to playing it just because it brought something too me that I didn't know I would like which is dragons, ancient time, creatures, powers, etc. This game brings entertainment to me as it does to others cause overall this game is amazing with a high rating and many awards.

I love playing Skyrim, but I have to admit that I liked Oblivion a lot more. The NPC's were more fun and the quested seemed a lot more thought out. I liked the additions in skyrim such as all the food you can cook and being able to get married and adopt but the quests and characters were less thought out and didn't have the same joy as Oblivion and Morrowind.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like Skyrim is a explorer expedition but you are exploring an entire world not just a country or continent. I can see where you would sign on for just an hour and then find you spent the entire afternoon playing the game. Do you have to develop a skill set before you can go to different locations? Is there a morale code for your character? Do you have to know about the previous games before you can play Skyrim or can you just dive into Skyrim?
ReplyDeleteYou don't have to know the previous games to know what happens in this one because each game has its different story. The game is simply a sandbox where you can do anything after the prolouge and you can go anywhere but it's best to settle somewhere and try to level up because some areas and enemy a are harder to kill and character wise, you create your own like literally changing how big or small your body is and making your face look pretty if you choose to be a female or strong man if you choose to be a male. Basically your free to do anything with a character you have created in the game without knowing the other games. P. S. It's better to play this game on pc because of the mods people make for this game. The game itself is good but what people make for it is amazing and makes the game more good and unique. I have to yet play it on pc.
